11th grader, S. Thomareis and 10th grader, K. Mavromati won 2nd and 6th place respectively in the 22nd Panhellenic Physics 2012 competition, which was held by the Hellenic Physics Society in collaboration with the Science, Technology and Environment Laboratory of the University of Athens, and they will be awarded in a special event.
12th grader K. Samaras-Tsakiris and 11th grader E. Konstantinidou won 1st and 3rd place respectively in the 3rd phase of the Panhellenic Biology Competition and will represent our country in the 23rd International Biology Olympiad which will take place in July in Singapore.
8th grader Y. Zevgaridou won 1st place in Impromptu Speaking, 9th grader A. Vouzoulidou’s team won 1st prize for Teamwork and Cooperation in Debating and 9th grader S. Papaevangelou’s team won 2nd place in Debating. In the preliminary phase of Impromptu Speaking, where 68 students took part, 7th grader A. Pampori and 8th grader Y. Zevgaridou won 1st and 2nd place respectively.
rom 26 to 29 April, at the events hall of Syntagma metro station, several works of art and crafts of students E. Alichanidou (8th grade), K. Karasakalidis, M. Karasakalidou, S. Koutroulis, E. Fesatidou (9th grade) were exhibited.

Mandoulides Schools participated in the Panhellenic Educational Program "Schools Supporting Children", which is conducted by the Greek National Committee of UNICEF, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, and is the best means of promoting and widely disseminating the content of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

which was held on April 14th, 2012 at the Berlin
Philharmonic.
8th graders G. Venizelos, R. Ketsetsidis and 10th grader G. Voudouris successfully competed in the 3rd and final phase of the 24th Panhellenic Computer Science Competition, which took place at the National Technical University of Athens (Metsovion) on Saturday, April 7th, 2012.
Paralympic swimming champion Christos Tampaxis visited Mandoulides Schools on Friday, April 6th, 2012 and discussed with the students that attended the event.
Mandoulides Schools participated in the 6th Model United Nations (RCIMUN) at the renowned American Robert College of Istanbul.

11th grader E. Mainou participated in the 32nd National Session of European Youth Parliament of France, held in Sèvres, from March 30th to April 1st.
A group of three High School students, consisting of N. Palla-Misailides, E. Tsaprazi and Z. Hiliada, represented Mandoulides School at the 69th International Session of the European Youth Parliament in Istanbul.
The EKASTH final four was completed with MAS MANDOULIDES winning the title of teen champion as it beat Aris by 63-60.

MAS Mandoulides children's team was declared champion in the final match of EKASTH (Union of Basketball Associations of Thessaloniki) as it beat PAOK by 62-59.
9th grader E. Thomarei won the 1st prize in the Francophonie Competition which is organized annually by the French Institute in collaboration with the Cooperation and Cultural Action Service of the French Embassy in Greece and the Francophone Embassies in Greece

Selected Senior High School students and Mandoulides Schools drama group took part in the conference "100 + 1 YEARS ALEXANDROS PAPADIAMANTIS", in Istanbul from 15 to 18 March, by Zografio High School and Mandoulides Schools, under the auspices of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople.

The Ecochromata Ensemble, composed by Mandoulides Schools choir and orchestra, attended the opening ceremony of the 8th Panhellenic Conference of Atherosclerosis.

In the 11th Open Individual School Chess Championship organized by the Union of Chess Clubs of the prefectures of Thessaloniki and Chalkidiki, Mandoulides Elementary School pupils achieved significant distinctions.

medal) in the 29th National Mathematical Olympiad "Archimedes".

As part of the
educational program, journalist Mr. Stratos Simitzis gave a speech on the
occasion of the celebration of the 100th anniversary since the liberation of Thessaloniki.
Mandoulides Schools won 1st place upon completion of the second phase "Euclid" of the Hellenic Mathematical Society National Competition.

3rd, 4th and 5th graders as well as the traditional dances clubs of Elementary School successfully participated in the Traditional Dance Festival, held at the indoor gymnasium of Mandoulides Schools Cultural and Sports Center on Wednesday, February 15th, 2012.
On Friday, February 10th 2012, Mandoulides Schools choir attended the opening ceremony of the 2nd National Conference of Pediatric Hematology - Oncology, which was held at the Electra Palace Hotel.
Thirty-two 10th and 11th graders participated in the annual visit of Mandoulides Schools to the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) in Geneva, Switzerland from 09 to 12/02/2012.

6th grader, A. Vrani, was ranked 5th best speaker at the 3rd Junior Debate Camp, held at Moraitis School, Athens, on January 13th and 14th, 2012.
Mandoulides Schools won 1st place in Northern Greece and 3rd place nationwide upon completion of the first phase "Thales" of the Panhellenic Competition of the Greek Mathematical Society.
